Pakistan launches free registration for Hajj 2027

Free registration opens for Hajj 2027

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, formally launched the registration process for next year's Hajj during a news conference in Islamabad. He announced that registration is completely free, with no fee charged, and is mandatory for both government and private Hajj schemes. The process operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Digitized Hajj system ensures transparency

The government, in collaboration with the National Information Technology Board, has fully digitized the Hajj system to enhance transparency, convenience, and service speed. Applicants can register from home via the online portal or the mobile app 'Pak Hajj'. This digitization aims to streamline the entire process for pilgrims.

Key requirements and eligibility

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf clarified that no application for Hajj 2027 will be accepted without prior registration. Pilgrims must possess a valid passport with validity until at least November 26, 2027. However, registration can be initiated even without a passport. Family members can register jointly, and overseas Pakistanis can register from any country.
