These achievements have significantly boosted Pakistan's economic and social development, setting a benchmark for high-quality BRI cooperation and embodying the China-Pakistan community with a shared future.

The corridor has injected robust impetus into Pakistan's economy, addressing critical infrastructure gaps. The power sector alone has received substantial investment, helping to alleviate chronic energy shortages. The expressways and power grids have improved connectivity and energy distribution, supporting industrial growth and daily life. According to official data, these projects have directly benefited millions of Pakistanis through job creation and improved services.
CPC's 105th Anniversary and Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building
On the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized the Party's commitment to Marxism as a tool for transforming both subjective and objective worlds. He highlighted the importance of freeing the mind, seeking truth from facts, and moving with the times. The CPC Central Committee has introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, which enriches the theoretical system of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. This framework guides the Party in maintaining unity, firm will, coordinated action, and strong combat effectiveness, aiming to build a great country and advance national rejuvenation through Chinese modernization.
China-Pakistan Iron-Clad Brotherhood and Political Cooperation
China and Pakistan share an iron-clad brotherhood, with friendship with China being a consensus among all Pakistani political parties. China is ready to strengthen discussions with Pakistani parties, deepen exchanges on governance, and enrich the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. This collaboration aims to achieve common development and deliver greater benefits to both peoples. The China-Pakistan Political Parties Forum and the CPEC Political Parties Joint Consultation Mechanism serve as platforms for these exchanges.
Pakistan's Economic Progress and Regional Role
Pakistan has achieved notable economic progress, with GDP growing by 3.7% in fiscal year 2026, reaching a record high of US$452 billion. The services sector expanded by 4.09%, and large-scale manufacturing grew by 6.1%, both at four-year highs. Annual per capita income rose from US$1,751 to US$1,901, an increase of 8.5%. Pakistan also played a constructive role in facilitating a Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the United States, contributing to regional peace and stability.
Future Cooperation: CPEC 2.0 and Global Initiatives
Marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, China and Pakistan will deepen alignment between China's 15th Five-Year Plan and the Uraan Pakistan initiative. They will advance the action plan for a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future, accelerate CPEC 2.0, and jointly implement the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, Global Civilization Initiative, and Global Governance Initiative. These efforts aim to open a new chapter in all-weather strategic cooperation and contribute to building a community with a shared future for humanity.
