A team from Ravi Police recovered the bodies of a 42-year-old woman and her three children from a house in Okara on Thursday. The property belongs to Muhammad Riaz, also known as Gullu, who had been working overseas and recently returned to Pakistan.
Victims Identified
The deceased were identified as Faiza (42), her seven-year-old twin sons, Dawood and Junaid, and her 10-year-old daughter, Dua Fatima. The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police Response and Investigation
District Police Officer (DPO) Okara Asad Ejaz Malhi visited the scene, while police teams collected forensic evidence and other material from the house. According to police officials, Muhammad Riaz alias Gullu was reportedly driving in Jandraka at the time of the incident and was not present at the house.
SP Investigation Malik Dawood stated that all possible angles are being investigated, and the exact cause of death has not yet been determined. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities keeping all possibilities open.
