Karachi Rally Marks Burhan Wani's 10th Death Anniversary

Thousands of people participated in a rally in Karachi on Wednesday to mark the 10th death anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani, with participants expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir and calling for the implementation of the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

Rally Organised by APHC

The rally was organised by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan chapter, under the leadership of its Convener, Ghulam Muhammad Safi. It drew representatives from political, religious, social, student, legal, business and Kashmiri organisations, along with members of civil society.

Procession Route and Participants

The procession began at the ACP, Karachi and concluded at the city Press Club. Participants carried Pakistani and Kashmiri flags, portraits of Burhan Wani, and banners and placards supporting the right to self-determination. They also chanted slogans expressing support for the Kashmiri cause throughout the march.

Diverse Attendance

Leaders of several political and religious parties, lawyers, journalists, human rights activists and members of the Hindu community also participated in the rally, demonstrating broad-based support for the Kashmiri cause.
