ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday gave his approval to four amendment bills, as announced by the President's House Media Wing. The approved pieces of legislation include the Carriage by Air (Amendment) Bill, 2026; the Pakistan Airports Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026; the Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation (Amendment) Bill, 2026; and the Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
In a separate development, the president also endorsed the appointment of Ayesha Humaira Chaudhry, who holds the rank of SG/BS-22, as a Member of the Federal Public Service Commission.
