Attock Man Arrested for Murdering Mother and Sister

Attock Khurd police have arrested an accused involved in the brutal murder of his mother and teenage sister, officials said on Friday. According to police, the double murder took place on June 13, 2026, in Dakhner village, within the limits of Attock Khurd police station.

Suspect Demanded Money, Opened Fire

Police said the suspect Kamran Khan, described as a gambler, had demanded money from his mother. When she refused, he opened fire on her. His teenage sister was also present and tried to intervene. The accused then shot her as well and fled the scene.

Special Team Formed to Track Culprit

DPO Attock Sardar Mawarhan Khan immediately constituted a special team to track down the culprit. Using both modern surveillance and conventional investigation techniques, the team traced and arrested the accused. He has been sent behind bars and further investigation is underway.

Separate Arrests for Sexual Assault

In a separate operation, Rangoo police arrested two men identified as Muhammad Danish and Muhammad Zahir, both residents of Sirka village. They are accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy. Police said legal proceedings have been initiated against both suspects.
