The Capital Development Authority (CDA) executed a significant administrative reshuffle on Saturday, removing several key officers from their positions and transferring or posting 10 officials across various departments. The changes were formalized through a notification issued by the Human Resource Directorate (HRD).
Key Appointments and Transfers
According to the notification, Director Solid Waste Management Malik Azhar Ali (BS-19) has been relieved of his post and appointed as Director Administration. In his place, Deputy Director Solid Waste Management Ali Murtaza (BS-18) has been promoted to the role of Director Solid Waste Management.
Deputy Director Environment (Urban-II) Idrees Anjum (BS-17) has been transferred to serve as Deputy Director Administration. Similarly, Assistant Director DMA Liaqat Hayat (BS-17) has been posted as Assistant Director Administration. Badar Maqsood (BS-17), who was awaiting a posting, has been appointed as Assistant Director Transport.
Scope of the Reshuffle
The reshuffle impacts a total of 10 officials, reflecting the CDA's ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functions and optimize human resource deployment. The HRD notification did not specify the reasons behind the changes, but such moves are often aimed at improving efficiency and addressing organizational needs.
The new appointees are expected to assume their roles immediately, ensuring continuity in the authority's operations. The CDA oversees development and maintenance in the federal capital, and these personnel changes are part of routine administrative adjustments.
