Four Khwarij Killed in Two KP Operations: ISPR

Rawalpindi: Security forces have killed four Khwarij, members of the Indian-sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij, in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

Operations in Dera Ismail Khan and Mohmand

According to the ISPR, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by security forces in the Dera Ismail Khan District based on reports of Khwarij presence. During the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location. After an intense exchange of fire, two Khwarij affiliated with the Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij were eliminated.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in the Mohmand District, security forces engaged and neutralized two more Khwarij through a skillful engagement.

Recovery of Weapons and Ammunition

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain Khwarij, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area. Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Khwarij in the region.

Continued Counter-Terrorism Campaign

The ISPR emphasized that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign, under the vision of 'Azm e Istehkam' as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace. Security forces and law enforcement agencies are committed to wiping out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
