According to the chief minister, Abdul Razzaq Tareen acted swiftly and risked his own life to assist Dr. Mahnoor after she was targeted in the attack. He said the ward boy's timely response helped provide immediate support in a critical situation.

CM Bugti praised Abdul Razzaq's bravery, stating that such individuals set a strong example of humanity, duty, and professional responsibility. He added that the government would continue to encourage those who serve and protect human life.

National Recognition

He confirmed that a civil award had been approved to formally recognize Abdul Razzaq Tareen at the national level. The incident occurred at Sandeman Hospital in Quetta, where a man allegedly threw acid on a female doctor, leaving her critically injured.

The injured doctor was given emergency treatment at the hospital before being shifted to a private medical facility and later airlifted to Karachi for further medical care.
