Vote counting is currently in progress for the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections, with unofficial and preliminary results beginning to emerge from various constituencies across the region. According to sources within the Election Commission, the polling process commenced in the morning and continued without interruption until the scheduled closing time of 5:00 p.m.
Polling Concludes Across All Constituencies
Polling concluded across all 24 constituencies, after which the vote-counting process officially began. Sources confirmed that polling station gates were closed immediately after the official polling time ended. However, voters who were already present in queues before the 5:00 p.m. cutoff were permitted to cast their ballots. Voting was completed at all 1,391 polling stations established throughout Gilgit-Baltistan.
