Lahore police swiftly rescued two foreign women on Thursday, just hours after receiving an emergency complaint, and arrested four suspects in connection with allegations of kidnapping, ransom demands, and sexual assault. The operation was launched following a distress call, leading to the safe recovery of the victims and the apprehension of the accused.
FIR Registered Under Serious Charges
A first information report (FIR) was registered on Thursday at the Defence C Police Station under Sections 365A (kidnapping) and 375A (rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), based on a complaint filed by one of the victims. According to the FIR, the two women traveled to Pakistan after being invited by an acquaintance they had met in Singapore in October 2025.
The complainant detailed that the acquaintance lured them to Pakistan under false pretenses, after which they were allegedly kidnapped, held for ransom, and subjected to sexual assault. Police acted promptly on the emergency complaint, locating the victims and arresting the four suspects within hours.
Investigation Underway
Authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the incident, with police officials stating that all legal procedures are being followed to ensure justice. The suspects are currently in custody and are being interrogated to uncover the full extent of the crime, including any possible network involvement.
