DC Sargodha Inspects Muharram Routes, Orders Work Completion

Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry visited various areas of Sargodha on Saturday to inspect the routes designated for mourning processions during Muharram. He was accompanied by the Managing Director of Suthra Punjab Agency, Managing Director of WASA, Chief Officer of Municipal Corporation, Assistant Commissioner, and other relevant officials.

Inspection of Procession Routes and Development Projects

The deputy commissioner examined the routes passing through several Imambargahs and reviewed the progress of development and drainage projects being executed by WASA. He emphasized that all development and repair works must be completed before the commencement of Muharram. He also stressed the need for proper leveling of roads and passages to ensure that mourners do not face any difficulties during transportation.

Open Court by Chairperson of CM Complaints Cell

Separately, Saima Farooq, Chairperson of the Chief Minister Complaints Cell, held an open court at the Arts Council Complex to listen to public grievances. The event was attended by Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali, Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry, DPO Sohaib Ashraf, SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chadhar, MD WASA Ahmed Haroon, and MD Suthra Punjab Agency Rana Muhammad Abu Bakar.

During the open court, Saima Farooq stated that she is visiting districts across the province and holding open courts alongside divisional, district, and police administrations to provide relief to the people. She also announced action against PERA force officials over allegations of corruption and irregularities.
