JI Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman Vows to Empower Grassroots

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has declared that Pakistan belongs to its people and cannot be ruled by a few families, emphasizing that the party is working to reform the existing system to empower grassroots communities. Speaking at the "Bano Qabil" graduation ceremony organized by the Al-Khidmat Foundation in Islamabad, he congratulated the graduates and highlighted the country's vast human capital, asserting that millions of youth are seizing opportunities and that Pakistan has no reason to lag behind.

Constitutional Right to Education

Rehman stated that according to the Constitution, every child is entitled to free and equal quality education, yet millions of children across Pakistan, including in Punjab, remain out of school while the government education system is neglected. He condemned the existence of separate education systems for the poor and the rich, calling it unacceptable. He stressed that Pakistan's interests can never be compromised and that only the youth can lead the nation toward development and prosperity.

Bano Qabil Programme Achievements

The JI emir claimed that over 1.6 million youth have registered under the "Bano Qabil" programme, with millions having graduated. He announced that Jamaat-e-Islami plans to establish a university in the future. Rehman also criticized the government's economic policies, alleging that the burden of inflation and taxes is placed on the poor and middle class while billions of rupees are paid to certain sectors. He pledged that if JI comes to power, free and equal quality education will be provided nationwide.
