Maryam Nawaz Urges Continuous Progress in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has emphasized that the provincial administration must focus on constant progress rather than relying on past accomplishments. While chairing a security assessment meeting in Lahore, the chief minister said the Punjab government has raised the benchmark for administrative performance through effective governance and service delivery.

Eid-ul-Azha Arrangements Praised

She commended district administrations and field officials for successfully managing arrangements during Eid-ul-Azha. Maryam Nawaz instructed authorities to further strengthen preparations for Muharram-ul-Haram, stressing the need for comprehensive security measures and improved facilities to ensure the safety and convenience of mourners.

Recognition of Field Efforts

She lauded the efforts made across the province to maintain cleanliness and security during Eid, acknowledging the contributions of commissioners, deputy commissioners, district administrations, and other relevant departments. The chief minister also praised the work of Regional Police Officers (RPOs), District Police Officers (DPOs), the Home Department, and local government teams, noting that Punjab’s 17 field formations delivered exceptional services throughout the Eid holidays.

Post-Eid Cleanliness Campaigns

According to her, post-Eid sanitation campaigns were completed efficiently and on schedule, while cleanliness arrangements at Eidgahs and mosques reflected a high standard of public service. Reaffirming the government's priorities, Maryam Nawaz said the Punjab administration would continue focusing on effective governance, public safety, and improved service delivery across the province.
