District Police Officer (DPO) Bahawalnagar Muhammad Imran has announced that all appointments at Police Service Centers, Police Counters, and Police Facilitation Centers will be made purely on the basis of merit and transparency. A comprehensive aptitude test was conducted under his special instructions to ensure that only the most qualified candidates are selected.
Aptitude Test and Interviews Conducted
The aptitude test was administered to candidates vying for positions at these police facilities. Following the test, DPO Muhammad Imran personally conducted final interviews for the shortlisted candidates. During the interviews, the candidates' professional skills, public dealing abilities, computer skills, and their passion for solving citizens' problems immediately were evaluated.
Eliminating Nepotism
The primary objective of this rigorous selection process was to eliminate recommendation and nepotism, ensuring that appointments are made solely on merit and transparency. DPO Imran emphasized that Police Service Centers, Police Counters, and Facilitation Centers serve as the public face of the police. Therefore, only those employees who are technically proficient and capable of treating citizens with good manners and compassion will be appointed.

Only those employees will be appointed here who are not only technically proficient but also have the full ability to treat the citizens with good manners and compassion. In a separate development, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested nine suspects and seized over 55 kg of drugs during nationwide operations. This highlights the ongoing efforts to maintain law and order across the country.
