The Chief Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique, and Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat. Together, they will present Punjab's groundbreaking "Waste to Value, Vision to Global Action" framework that marks a historic shift toward environmental sustainability in the province.
This represents the first time in Punjab's history that such comprehensive eco-friendly measures are being implemented across all sectors. Revolutionary Transport and Clean Energy Initiatives
Central to Punjab's environmental transformation is the ambitious electric vehicle transition program. CM Maryam Nawaz will outline detailed plans for introducing electric buses in 42 cities across the province, significantly reducing carbon emissions from public transport.
The T30 vision for an environmentally friendly Punjab includes several groundbreaking proposals:
- Operation of 120,000 electric motorcycles and rickshaws
- Introduction of 1,100 electric taxis

Parallel to environmental reforms, the Punjab government has launched the Chief Minister IT Internship Programme, offering IT and computer science graduates a five-month internship with a monthly stipend of Rs50,000. This initiative aims to transform Punjab into an IT hub and support Nawaz Sharif's IT City project, which is expected to be a game-changer for the province's technological development.
