Saudi Minister Launches $445M Projects in Al-Baha

Minister Reviews Progress in Al-Baha

Saudi Arabia’s Municipalities and Housing Minister Majed Al-Hogail recently reviewed the progress of municipal, housing, and development projects in Al-Baha. During the visit, he inaugurated completed projects and laid the foundation stone for new ones with total investments exceeding SR1.67 billion ($445 million). The minister also handed over units to beneficiaries of the ministry’s developmental housing program.

Municipal Projects Launched

Al-Hogail launched municipal projects worth SR464 million and laid the foundation stone for new ones valued at SR873.5 million. The projects include roads, sidewalks, street lighting, flood-mitigation works, parks, and recreational facilities. They aim to advance infrastructure and improve services for residents and visitors.

Housing Sector Developments

In the housing sector, the minister inaugurated housing projects worth SR185.7 million, including the Telal Al-Baha (Al-Baha Hills) project and developmental projects in the Baljurashi and Qilwa governorates. He also laid the foundation stone for new housing projects worth SR150 million under the ministry’s off-plan sales program to expand supply and support home ownership.
