Sindh CM Condoles Death of PPP Worker Saba Haider

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited the residence of the late Saba Haider, a Pakistan Peoples Party worker and social media activist, in Gulistan-e-Johar on Saturday. He was accompanied by Provincial Ministers Sharjeel Inam Memon, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Saeed Ghani, and others.

Condolences Offered to Bereaved Family

The Chief Minister and the provincial ministers offered their condolences to the bereaved family of Saba Haider. The Chief Minister prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks in the hereafter, for her forgiveness, and for patience and strength for her family.

Dismissal of Five Food Department Officials

In a separate development, five officials of the Sindh Food Department were dismissed from service over misappropriation. The action was taken following an inquiry that found them guilty of embezzlement and misuse of official funds. The dismissed officials include two assistant directors and three inspectors, according to a statement from the department.
