Rawalpindi Police have conducted successful operations leading to the arrest of 10 outlaws and the recovery of narcotics, liquor, and illegal weapons on Saturday, according to a police spokesperson.
Drug and Liquor Seizures
In a targeted operation, Ganjmandi Police apprehended a drug supplier and recovered 2 kilograms of narcotics from his possession. Separately, Naseerabad Police detained two liquor suppliers and seized 20 litres of liquor, while Chaklala Police arrested another supplier and confiscated 5 litres of liquor.
Crackdown on Illegal Weapons
In another coordinated crackdown, Rawalpindi Police arrested six individuals for illegally possessing arms. Operations were conducted within the jurisdictions of Pirwadhai, Cantt, Airport, Chaklala, Taxila, and Rawat police stations, resulting in the recovery of weapons and ammunition.
Divisional SPs stated that strict action is being taken against those involved in possessing illegal weapons, emphasizing that violators of the law will not escape legal accountability. Police reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order through continued operations against drug trafficking, the illegal liquor trade, and unlawful possession of weapons.
