The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has officially declared 17 candidates successful for the position of BPS-18 Deputy District Attorney. The announcement was made by the commission’s spokesman on Friday, providing detailed information about the selection process and the successful candidates.
Selection Process Details
The written tests for these posts were conducted in March, while the interviews began on April 28 at the office of the Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Criminal Prosecution Department of the Sindh Government. The commission ensured a transparent and rigorous evaluation process to select the most qualified individuals.
Distribution of Successful Candidates
Out of the 17 successful candidates, 9 belonged to the open merit category for rural domiciles, while 6 were from the urban domicile category. Additionally, one candidate was selected from the female quota for urban areas, and one from the female quota for rural areas. This distribution reflects the commission's commitment to equitable representation across different regions and genders.
Top Performers
According to the results, Ghulam Hussain Faisal from the rural quota secured the highest marks with a score of 145. He was followed by Mehak Shahid and Awais Aziz from the urban quota, who secured 143 and 141 marks, respectively. These top performers demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skills during the selection process.
The SPSC continues to play a vital role in recruiting competent professionals for the Sindh government, ensuring that the legal and judicial departments are staffed with qualified individuals.
