Peshawar Meeting on PHE Projects
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering Fazal Shakoor Khan presided over an important meeting regarding various projects of the PHE Department in district Malakand on Thursday.
The Executive Engineer (XEN) PHE Malakand provided a detailed briefing to the Provincial Minister on multiple development schemes in the district. These included water supply projects, sanitation initiatives, and efforts aimed at delivering basic public services to the people. The briefing also covered the current progress of projects, utilization of funds, challenges being faced, and the future course of action.
Minister's Remarks
Speaking on the occasion, Fazal Shakoor Khan stated that providing safe drinking water and improved sanitation facilities to the public remains one of the top priorities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. He emphasized that concrete measures are being taken across all districts of the province to ensure timely completion of PHE projects so that people can benefit from these essential services.
The minister directed concerned officials to pay special attention to quality, transparency, and timely execution of all development schemes. He stressed that maintaining high standards in project implementation is essential for achieving sustainable development goals.
He further emphasized that water supply and sanitation projects are of vital importance for public welfare and improving citizens' quality of life. Therefore, every effort should be made to ensure the highest standards in planning, execution, and monitoring of these schemes.
