A man lost his life after falling from the second floor of a building in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Maymar area on Tuesday. The incident occurred in the Khuda Ki Basti locality, where the victim, identified as 35-year-old Nadeem, fell from the second floor of an under-construction building.
According to police officials, Nadeem was a laborer working at the construction site when he accidentally slipped and fell. He sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy. Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Initial reports suggest that the building lacked proper safety measures, which may have contributed to the accident.
Residents of the area expressed concern over the lack of safety protocols at construction sites, calling for stricter enforcement of regulations to prevent such tragedies in the future.
