DIJKOT: Police discovered unidentified bodies in various locations and initiated efforts to locate their families. According to officials, the body of an unidentified man, estimated to be around 40 years old, was found floating in a canal along Canal Road in the Madina Town area. Rescue teams recovered the body and handed it over to police.
Second Body Found Near Bara Whela
Another unidentified man, approximately 50 years old, was discovered dead in a canal near 264-RB Bara Whela, close to 80 Mor in Dijkot. Police and rescue personnel retrieved the body and commenced legal proceedings.
Elderly Woman's Body Spotted at Chowk
Passers-by noticed the body of an elderly woman lying near Jawad Club Chowk in Ghulam Muhammad Abad and alerted the authorities. Police transported the body to a hospital for identification and further investigation.
Constable Arrested for Assault
In a separate incident, a police constable and an accomplice were taken into custody after allegedly assaulting and injuring a duty officer at Thikriwala police station.
