VEHARI - District Police Officer (DPO) Vehari Tasawur Iqbal presided over a crime meeting held at the DSP Office Vehari to assess the prevailing law and order situation and evaluate the performance of the police force across the district.

Meeting Participants

The meeting was attended by SDPO Sadr Circle Jamshed Akram, Station House Officers (SHOs) of Vehari Circle, and in-charges of the Special Security and Intelligence Unit (SSOIU). During the session, the performance of each police station was reviewed in detail.

DPO Directives

Addressing the participants, DPO Tasawur Iqbal issued clear directives regarding the arrest of proclaimed offenders, timely disposal of under-investigation cases, apprehension of absconding suspects, recovery of abducted persons, and completion of pending challans on a priority basis. He instructed officers to utilize all available resources for crime prevention and the prompt delivery of justice to the public.

Muharram Security

The DPO also emphasized the need for foolproof security arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haram to ensure peace and public safety. He stated that maintaining law and order and curbing criminal activities require professional teamwork and dedication from every member of the police force.

Tasawur Iqbal urged officers to perform their duties with commitment and professionalism to strengthen public confidence in the police. He reiterated that any laxity in duty would not be tolerated, and performance would be monitored regularly.
