The Cantt Zone Cricket Association (CA) officially commenced its administrative operations by convening its inaugural general body meeting, during which members ratified pivotal organizational resolutions and reiterated their dedication to transparent, constitutional, and merit-based governance.

Chaired by President Syed Mashhood Hussain Shirazi, the meeting took place at the LCCA Cricket Ground Conference Hall. Attendees included club representatives, association members, and prominent figures from the local cricket community. Secretary Mirza Azmat Baig welcomed the participants and characterized the gathering as a significant milestone in fostering collaboration and advancing cricket within the zone.

Adoption of Model Constitution
A landmark decision of the meeting was the unanimous adoption of the District and Zonal Cricket Association Model Constitution. This ensures that all future administrative and constitutional matters will be conducted strictly in accordance with established rules and regulations, promoting consistency and accountability.

Addressing the assembly, President Shirazi expressed gratitude to voters, supporters, and party chairman Khawaja Nadeem Ahmad for their trust. Key Appointments Approved
The general body also ratified several key appointments. Asghar Ali Naz was elected Senior Vice President, Syed Kamil Ali Shah was named Vice President, and Abdul Waheed was appointed Joint Secretary. Additionally, Syed Habib-ul-Hassan Shah and M Owais Sarwar were unanimously elected to the executive committee, further strengthening the association's leadership structure.
