Muhammad Ibraheem Hussain Gill, Pakistan's emerging tennis star, delivered a flawless performance to capture both the singles and doubles titles at the ATF Under-12 Tennis Tournament in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The young Pakistani completed an unbeaten campaign without dropping a single set throughout the tournament.
Dominant Singles Campaign
Ibraheem capped a remarkable week by defeating Kazakhstan's Bakhytzhan 6-1, 6-1 in the singles final. Earlier, he advanced to the title clash after defeating Maxkam Abduxalilov 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals and Bolat Suieeinov 6-0, 6-0 in the quarterfinals. He began his dominant run with successive 6-0, 6-0 victories over Viktor Shegai and D. Shamsikulov in the opening two rounds.
Doubles Triumph
The young Pakistani also excelled in doubles, partnering Kazakhstan's Rafael Manarbek to claim the championship with a convincing 6-2, 6-4 victory over Bolat Suieeinov and B. Mukhaddas in the final.
