He emphasized that adaptability is a key factor for success. "The Rawalpindi surface was relatively slow, and both teams adjusted their strategies accordingly," Kuhnemann said. "We are expecting another competitive contest in Lahore and hope to play much better cricket in the next match."

Reflecting on Australia's defeat in the series opener, Kuhnemann acknowledged the quality of Pakistan's bowling attack, which restricted the visitors to a modest total. He felt Australia had left valuable runs on the table and believed a slightly bigger score could have significantly altered the outcome of the match. "Pakistan's bowlers performed exceptionally well and prevented us from building momentum. If we had managed another 20 to 40 runs, the contest could have been much closer and more challenging for Pakistan," he remarked.
