The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has paid a heartfelt tribute to legendary cricket supporter Chaudhry Abdul Jalil, popularly known as Chacha Cricket, as he prepares to end his decades-long association with Pakistan cricket following the final One Day International (ODI) against Australia at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Chacha Cricket’s Journey
Widely known as Chacha Cricket, Abdul Jalil has been a prominent presence at Pakistan matches for nearly four decades. He is regarded as one of the most recognizable cricket supporters in the world. His association with Pakistan cricket began in the 1980s in Sharjah, where he regularly attended matches. In 1996, he officially became the mascot of the Pakistan cricket team.
Known for his dedication, Chacha Cricket traveled extensively to support Pakistan, often making personal sacrifices to follow the team across different countries and tournaments. Born in Sialkot on October 8, 1949, he became instantly recognizable through his trademark green outfit, white beard, and cap featuring Pakistan’s crescent and star.
