PCB, Saudi Arabia Partner for New Jeddah Cricket Stadium

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a major step in expanding cricket's global footprint by signing a landmark strategic partnership with the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) to build a state-of-the-art international cricket stadium in Jeddah. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and SACF Chairman Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud, marks the first formal collaboration between the two cricket bodies and underscores Saudi Arabia's growing ambitions to establish itself as a destination for international cricket.

Technical Expertise and Modern Facilities

Under the agreement, the PCB will provide technical expertise and support the construction of a modern venue designed to meet all International Cricket Council (ICC) standards. The stadium will feature world-class playing and training facilities, enabling Saudi Arabia to host international fixtures and major global tournaments in the future. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi described the agreement as a historic milestone, saying the partnership would accelerate cricket's growth in Saudi Arabia while creating new opportunities for players, administrators, and fans in both countries. “We are proud to contribute to the development of cricket in Saudi Arabia. This partnership will strengthen sporting ties and leave a lasting legacy for future generations,” Naqvi said.
