Two Arrested for Phone Thefts at Weddings in Lahore

LAHORE: Police have arrested two suspected members of a gang involved in stealing mobile phones from wedding functions and other gatherings. The Harbanspura police apprehended the alleged ringleader, Ali Raza, and his accomplice Ahsan.

Details of the Arrest

According to police officials, the suspects were members of a gang that had been involved in at least 45 cases of theft. During the operation, law enforcement recovered 11 stolen mobile phones and an illegal weapon from the suspects. Cases have been registered against them.

Confession and Investigation

Investigators claimed that the suspects confessed during initial interrogation to stealing phones from wedding ceremonies and other locations. The police are now working to identify other members of the gang and recover more stolen items.
