In an electrifying final showdown at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court in Karachi, the Civil Tigers Club emerged victorious to claim the prestigious 5th Deputy Commissioner (DC) South Boys Basketball Championship trophy. They secured a hard-fought win against Arambagh Club with a final score of 32-28.
Star Performers Lead the Charge
The architect of the Civil Tigers' triumph was undoubtedly Maaz Ashraf, who delivered a stellar performance by scoring 15 points. His contribution included three decisive three-pointers that shifted the momentum in his team's favor. He received solid support from teammates M Haris Shahid, who added 11 points, and Ahmed Ali with 8 points.
On the opposing side, Arambagh Club's Engineer Zain-ul-Abidin Channa put up a valiant fight, leading his team's effort with 12 points. He was ably assisted by Iftikhar Ahmed (10 points) and Hasan Ali (8 points), but their combined effort fell just short of the target.
