The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) has launched a training program for 215 male and female students from 28 universities across the Kingdom. The training is taking place at SDAIA's headquarters in Riyadh, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Program Aims to Equip Students with AI and Data Skills
The program is designed to provide participants with knowledge and skills in data, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies. It offers practical experience in a professional work environment as part of broader efforts to develop national talent. Through its academy, SDAIA will prepare this new generation of high-achieving university students to lead the future of data and AI.
Comprehensive Training Combining Academia and Practice
The training combines academic knowledge with practical experience in computer science, data science, and AI. Participants will contribute to high-impact projects, gain exposure to best practices and advanced technologies, and help align academic outcomes with labor market needs. SDAIA continues to empower young talent through partnerships with universities and educational institutions across the Kingdom.

The authority aims to enhance students’ academic and practical qualifications, enabling them to become skilled national talent that strengthens the Kingdom’s competitiveness and supports the goals of the Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026. According to SPA, the program is part of SDAIA's ongoing efforts to strengthen national data and AI capabilities.
