TikTok Launches Agentic AI and New Ad Tools for MENA Brands

TikTok has introduced Symphony Agent, an artificial intelligence tool that automates campaign creation for advertisers, alongside several new advertising products now accessible to businesses across the Middle East and North Africa. The announcements were made at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026, where Symphony Agent received a global launch.

Symphony Agent: AI-Powered Campaign Automation

Symphony Agent is built with what TikTok describes as “cultural intelligence,” enabling it to generate video content, identify relevant creator material, and suggest creators based on an advertiser’s goals and data drawn from trending content on the platform. The tool is integrated across TikTok’s Symphony Creative Studio, Content Suite, and TikTok One—the “all-in-one TikTok creative platform” that connects brands, creators, and agencies in a single ecosystem.

“With Symphony Agent, brands can move seamlessly from audience insights to creative concepts, and from content creation to measurable impact, faster than ever before,” said Shadi Kandil, general manager of global business solutions in the Middle East, Turkiye, Africa, Latin America, Central and South Asia at TikTok.

New Ad Formats for MENA Brands

Alongside the global AI launch, TikTok announced several ad formats now available to MENA brands. These include:

  • Logo Takeover: Grants advertisers exclusive visibility when users open the app.
  • Prime Time: A sequential format that delivers up to three ads within a 15-minute window.
  • TopReach: Bundles TikTok’s two most prominent placements—TopView and TopFeed—into a single purchase.

The platform also introduced Search Hubs, which place brand pages at the top of search results, and expanded its TikTok Market Scope measurement tool with new industry, ecommerce, and creative insights modules.

Enhanced Creative Production with AI

On the creative production side, Dreamina Seedance 2.0, ByteDance’s next-generation AI video model, is now integrated into TikTok Symphony. A new Reference to Video feature allows advertisers to specify particular images or products within AI-generated content, offering more precise control over brand messaging.

These updates signify TikTok’s deepening commitment to the MENA region, providing brands with advanced tools to leverage platform trends and user behavior for more effective advertising campaigns.
