The buses will operate on key routes including Jhika Gali, Patriata, Rawalpindi to Lari, and Lawrence College, facilitating access to major tourist destinations and helping reduce traffic congestion. This network connects popular spots, making it easier for tourists to explore Murree without adding to vehicular pollution.
Modern Facilities and Citizen Response
According to details, the buses are equipped with modern facilities to ensure a comfortable travel experience for passengers. A citizen remarked, “This is the first time in Murree’s history that eco-friendly public transport has been introduced, which is a valuable initiative for both residents and tourists.” The service, which will be launched soon, is expected to significantly ease traffic issues, particularly during the peak summer season.
