An awareness session on voter registration, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), B-Form, and the NADRA Pak ID app was organized in Hyderabad. The event was led by Assistant Director Social Welfare Department Fauzia Hassan in collaboration with IDCC/DVEC, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

During the session, participants were informed about the importance of voter registration, the responsible use of the right to vote, correction of voter information in electoral rolls, and the procedure for registering new voters. Regional Incharge of NADRA Rafiq Ahmed Bular provided practical guidance on using the Pak ID app, explaining various services related to CNIC, including online applications, document renewal, and other digital facilities.

Officials Urge Citizen Participation

District Election Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Muhammad Yousuf Majeedano and NADRA Regional Incharge Rafiq Ahmed Bular emphasized that every eligible citizen should obtain a national identity card and register as a voter. They stated that the proper use of the right to vote plays a vital role in strengthening the democratic system. They urged youth, women, and all eligible citizens to complete their voter registration and take full advantage of NADRA’s modern online services.
