Bahawalpur Airport Operations to Resume
Member of the Punjab Assembly Sadia Bilal has expressed gratitude to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for issuing directives to restore operations at Bahawalpur Airport. She stated that the decision was taken because of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's special interest.
Long-Standing Demand of South Punjab
Resumption of flights at the airport was a long-standing demand of the people of South Punjab, particularly Bahawalpur. The restoration of airport operations would not only improve air travel facilities but also promote trade and tourism in the region, according to MPA Sadia Bilal.
