Delhi Gate police have busted a notorious thief gang and arrested two of its members during a special crackdown launched on Friday. Acting on special directives from City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar, the Delhi Gate police, under the supervision of Station House Officer (SHO) Tanveer Aslam, conducted the operation that dismantled the Gul Faraz Gang.
Arrests and Recoveries
The police arrested two gang members, including the ring leader Gul Faraz and his accomplice Shahzad. From their possession, authorities recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 400,000, which included two motorcycles and cash. The arrests were made after tracing five cases linked to the gang.
Ongoing Investigations
Police sources confirmed that further investigations are underway, and more recoveries are expected from the arrested criminals. The crackdown is part of a broader effort to curb criminal activities in the area.
