Police in DIJKOT recovered the bodies of five unidentified men from various locations across the city on Saturday, according to officials. The first body was discovered at the Railway Station within the jurisdiction of Peoples Colony Police Station. The deceased, described as an elderly man, reportedly fell critically ill and died at the scene. Passersby spotted the body and alerted authorities, who transported it to a hospital and began efforts to establish his identity.
Second Body Found in Rakh Branch
Separately, the body of another unidentified man, believed to be around 45 years old, was recovered from the Rakh Branch area. Police have not disclosed details about the remaining three bodies or the exact locations where they were found. All five bodies have been moved to a morgue for post-mortem examinations.
Investigation Underway
Police have launched an investigation to determine the causes of death and identify the deceased. Officials are checking missing persons reports and using forensic evidence to trace the men's identities. No arrests have been made so far, and authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
