Employees from FCEPL spent a day with students at various schools, including the RAAST School in Karachi and community schools in Sahiwal and Sukkur, to educate them about the long-term health benefits of consuming milk daily for school-going children.
Addressing Malnutrition in Pakistan
Such awareness sessions are crucial in Pakistan, where nearly 10 million children suffer from stunting and 40% of children under the age of 5 experience acute malnourishment. This condition not only hampers physical growth but also poses significant obstacles to mental development. A single glass of milk can provide 7 out of 12 essential daily nutrients, making it a powerful tool in the fight against malnutrition in the country.
