Advanced Technology for Public Safety

He said the police were adopting advanced technological solutions alongside conventional policing methods to enhance public safety and improve service delivery, adding that protecting the lives and property of citizens remained the department’s foremost priority. The use of E-Gadget tracking software marks a significant step in leveraging digital tools for crime prevention and property recovery.

Process of Verification and Return

The police spokesperson explained that each recovered device underwent a thorough verification process to ensure it was returned to the legitimate owner. This involved cross-checking IMEI numbers, purchase receipts, and other identifying documents.
