Twelve members of a Hindu family from the Bheel community embraced Islam on Friday in Sindhri, Mirpurkhas district, during a ceremony held at the village of Haji Allah Bachayo Rahimoon in Union Council Ghiror Sharif. The family recited the Kalima Tayyaba and adopted new Islamic names, marking their entry into the faith.
Conversion Ceremony Details
The conversion was conducted under the guidance of Maulana Muhammad Ishaq Nohri, a teacher at Madrasah Arabia Madinat-ul-Uloom, Madina Masjid, Shahi Bazaar, Mirpurkhas. Following the recitation of the Kalima Tayyaba, the family received an introduction to the basic teachings of Islam.
According to those present, the head of the family, previously known as Krishan, adopted the name Abdullah. The other family members, including men, women, and children from the same household, also chose Islamic names.
Community Support and Message
Speaking on the occasion, religious scholar Maulana Hafeez-ur-Rehman Faiz congratulated the family and described Islam as a religion of peace, love, and brotherhood. He prayed for their steadfastness in faith and urged the community to extend religious, educational, and social support to help the family in their new chapter of life.
