Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has taken notice of the sealing of an NFC-affiliated educational facility in Faisalabad and directed authorities to take immediate steps for its restoration. According to official sources, the Punjab Excise and Taxation Department had sealed the premises over alleged non-payment of property tax dues.
Minister Directs Swift Action
The minister instructed the Secretary and Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education to submit a detailed report regarding the matter by Monday, while directing relevant authorities to ensure the facility is reopened without delay in accordance with applicable rules and procedures. He emphasised that the issue should be resolved on a priority basis to avoid disruption to educational activities at the institution.
Coordination Between Authorities
Officials said the minister has sought a comprehensive explanation from the concerned departments and called for coordination between federal and provincial authorities to address the matter swiftly. The development underscores the government's commitment to ensuring uninterrupted education across the country.
