Speaking on the occasion, Faisal Ahmed Topra, Group Chief Operations, NBP, emphasized the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges. Importance of Urban Forestry
Masood Lohar, Founder of Clifton Urban Forest, highlighted the need for strategic urban forestry. He stated, “Today we have organized this tree plantation activity with NBP. Our dedicated team makes sure that these planted saplings do not get affected harmfully and grow into a healthy tree with proper maintenance within 3-5 years. With a city as big as Karachi, tree plantation is not enough, we should plan urban forestry and organizations should plan this initiative nationally.”
