Three young brothers drowned while bathing in Nullah Ankar near Talagang in Punjab on Thursday. The victims, aged between seven and nine years, had entered the nullah to cool off from the heat when they accidentally slipped into deep water and drowned.
Rescue and Recovery
Rescue teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident. The bodies of the three children were recovered and shifted to a nearby hospital for legal formalities.
According to local officials, the children were residents of a nearby village and had gone to the nullah without adult supervision. The incident has left the community in shock.
