The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration authorities at Multan International Airport successfully thwarted an attempt to travel abroad using forged documents. Two women passengers were offloaded, and two agents involved in facilitating illegal immigration were arrested.
According to FIA officials, the women were traveling to Eswatini on visit visas aboard Flight FZ-326. The passengers were identified as Anum Fatima and Sehar, both residents of Lahore. The FIA also arrested two agents, identified as Sohail and Muhammad Waseem, at the airport for their alleged involvement in facilitating the passengers' travel.
In a separate development, Khanewal Police nabbed 263 proclaimed offenders (POs) and busted eight robbery gangs during May, showcasing their efforts to maintain law and order in the region.
