Gold and Silver Prices Rise in Local Market

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported a notable increase in gold prices in the local market on Saturday. The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,100, settling at Rs433,536. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs943 to Rs371,687, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a rise of Rs864 to Rs340,725.

International Precious Metal Trends

In the international market, gold prices also climbed, gaining $11 to reach $4,111 per ounce. This upward movement reflects global economic factors and investor sentiment. According to the association, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs30 to Rs6,462, and the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs26 to Rs5,540. Internationally, silver prices edged up by $0.30 to $59.83 per ounce.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and the finance ministry jointly hosted an Investor Briefing Session in Karachi, aimed at engaging stakeholders and discussing market opportunities.
