The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China's IBI Group during the IBI Pakistan Digital Economy HQ Official Launch Ceremony held in Islamabad. The agreement was formalized by RCCI President Usman Shaukat, who exchanged the MoU documents with representatives of IBI Group. RCCI Group Leader Sohail Altaf witnessed the signing ceremony.

The MoU aims to strengthen strategic cooperation in several key areas, including industrial digitalization, e-commerce, smart manufacturing, logistics support, and overall industrial development. Notable attendees included Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan Senator Ishaq Dar, SAPM on Industries & Production Haroon Akhtar Khan, Minister for Board of Investment Qaiser Sheikh, Minister of State for IT & Telecom Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, ambassadors of Pakistan and China, FPCCI leadership, and representatives from leading Pakistani and Chinese enterprises. The presence of such high-level dignitaries underscored the importance of the MoU for bilateral economic ties.
