According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs278.25 and Rs279.50, respectively.

The Japanese yen remained unchanged, closing at Rs1.74. The British pound saw an increase of Rs1.19, closing at Rs375.03 against the previous day's Rs373.84.

The exchange rate of the UAE dirham remained stagnant, closing at Rs75.82. Meanwhile, the Saudi riyal depreciated by 1 paisa, closing at Rs74.20 compared to the previous day.
