A high-level meeting was held in Islamabad on Wednesday to advance maritime cooperation between Pakistan and China, focusing on key infrastructure projects and trade facilitation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework.

Ms. He He Amanda, Director of Precise Development (HK) Limited from China, along with two other members of a visiting Chinese delegation, met with Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry. The meeting was also attended by Zahid Nadeem, CEO of Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd, and Jawaid Siddiqui, Chief Operating Officer of Pakistan Intermodal Limited (PIL).

This engagement served as a follow-up to a prior meeting held in October 2025, where both sides reviewed the progress of earlier discussions. The talks underscored a sustained commitment to strengthening cooperation in Pakistan’s maritime and logistics sectors.
