The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has issued a power suspension programme for Friday across various areas of its region to carry out necessary maintenance and routine development work.
Areas Affected by Power Suspension
According to an IESCO spokesman, power supply will remain suspended in areas fed by the KTM-2 feeder under Jhelum Circle from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. In the GSO Circle, electricity will be suspended from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Additionally, power will be interrupted from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132-KV New Wah–POF transmission line and related earth switch. The 132-KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang, 132-KV Kahuta City–Palandri, and 132-KV New Wah–Bahter More transmission lines along with related earth switches and surrounding areas will also remain closed during this period.
IESCO Management Apologizes
IESCO management has apologized to its esteemed customers for the power outage. The spokesman noted that if the work is completed ahead of time, power supply can be restored before the scheduled time.
